Billykirk Bike Pouch

I'm slowly getting sucked into looking at bike porn probably because I feel that sun is just around the corner. Billykirk, American leather specialist created this new bike pouch that clamps perfectly to your bike. I think this pouch definitely gives your bike a little vintage class to it. Blackbird is now selling it for $145 in black and brown colorways.

Tilin' and Profilin'

These 2'x2' tiles are kinda cool, I think? Haven't made up my mind if I like them or not. The ostrich and frog ones would have to be my favorite.  I would take Rolling Stones' advice and paint it black.  ABOVE VIEW makes these so check out their site for more info.

super premium dog food

My dog has been looking kinda skinny lately and he hasn't been eating much. He's not sick or anything and I think he just doesn't like his food. I tried mixing it with canned food and wetting it with warm water...didn't work.

So I started to do some research online and found out that his dog food (Eukanuba) is CRAP. Well all the big brand dog foods suck.  So I went k9cuisine.com after my research and ordered a few small bags to test out which my husky would like the best. The top two were Orijen 6 fresh fish and Innova EVO Red Meat.  Three key phrases you want on your dog's kibble bag would be: high protein, low carbs, and grain free. CRAP dog food all have lots of grain and fillers and preservatives that can be bad for your dogs health and a shortened life span.  *Note that the super premium brands make cat food as well so check those out too if you have a cat. Definitely check out the above links if you are a dog/cat owner and K9cuisine.com has free shipping on all orders over $50.

A damn good Irish Coffee

I went to the Buena Vista for a drink for the first time this past Sunday in Fisherman's Wharf. They are famous for their Irish Coffee, which holds the title of Best in the US and the first place to serve them in the US. In 1952 the owner, Jack Koeppler, challenged a traveling writer to duplicate the famous Irish Coffee that is served in Shannon Airport in Ireland.  After experimenting forever, they concocted the perfect tasting Irish Coffee (directions below). I thought I was done with Irish fare after leaving Boston, but I gotta go back to the BV and get me a few of those...or just make own. It won't be the same without the cool chalices though.

Lobster Chair

This is the Lobster Chair designed by Lund and Paarman. I think the design of this chair is pretty awesome and tempting. I really want to try it out but seriously, how long can someone have their back scrunched like that? I think this chair causes major back problems. But anyways it's cool to look at...."The shell is laminated, bend wood with a walnut veneer at the back. Inside the shell we have used Pantera foam, as it is very durable and probably the least damaging foam regarding our environment. The swivel base is chrome-plated steel. The fabrics and the leather we are using for Lobster are of the very best quality."
